Why Don't Most Hair Removal Companies Offer Both Electrolysis And Laser?

In truth; the answer to is fairly simple, it's due to the extended length of training, the complexity of passing state testing and certification, the ability to obtain and maintain the multitude of licenses required by the state of Florida in order to perform both modalities separately; but more importantly, it is truly dictated by the ability to undertake such a mammoth expense in order to obtain and maintain all of the aforementioned training and licensing requirements in order to provide the only two true methods of Permanent Hair Removal modalities on the market today.  For these reasons most hair removal companies today will only offer one of these hair removal methods.

Presently, Sabrina's Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal currently holds the highest level of training, licensing, and certifications an Electrologist and/or an Electrology Facility can possess within the state of Florida.  In addition to our Board Certified Licensing and Certifications, we currently utilize the most up-to-date techniques, modalities, and equipment within the Permanent Hair Removal Industry to date; this is why we continue to succeed, prosper, and are capable of offering our clients Permanent Hair Removal Solutions and Services at discounted rates.  For more information on our Licensing and Certifications, please visit our Choosing an Electrologist Tab.

Are Electrolysis And Laser Hair Removal The Only Method Of Permanent Hair Removal?

Yes.  There are many other methods of temporary hair removal on the market today; however, you can only receive Permanent Hair Removal Results through the process of Electrolysis, Laser Hair Removal, or utilizing both methods in-tandem.

Are All Hairs Eliminated In One Session Or Do I Need Multiple Treatments?

Excessive hair growth, known as Hirsutism or Hypertrichosis can range from fine vellus hair, to dark coarse hair on the face, and body. Deep, coarse hairs cannot always be eliminated within one treatment.  In order to completely eliminate hair growth from a hair follicle the hair's growth cells must be broken down through the process of Electrolysis and/or with Laser Hair Removal.  This will require addition treatments in order to permanently destroy the hair's root, and follicle.  There are no short cuts to this process!!!

What Causes Excessive & Unwanted Hair Growth?

Hair growth is the result of heredity and hormonal levels. Additionally, some medication, temporary methods of hair removal, and some illnesses can stimulate hair growth.

Perimenopause, menopause, insulin resistance, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and hirsute are named medical diagnosis's particularly prone to increase hair growth due to hormonal imbalance.

How Many Hair Follicles Are There On My Body?

The average person has approximately 5 million hair follicles.  There are approximately 700 to 1000 hair follicles per every square inch of skin on the average person; however, not all of the hair follicles are active at the same time.

The amount of active hair growth on the body depends on several factors to include but not limited to; the hair's growth cycle, stress, hormonal imbalances, medications, puberty, etc...

What Are The Pros and Cons Of Waxing, Threading, Or Using Other Temporary Hair Removal Systems Or Products?

Some popular temporary methods of hair removal today are waxing in Naples, threading in Naples, the use of depilatory creams, sprays, or serums, and/or products such as the No No Hair Removal System, and the Epilfree Hair Removal System.  While these temporary methods of hair removal provide individuals with hair free skin after each treatment; they do not however provide permanent hair removal results; moreover, these temporary methods of hair removal often cause the most collateral damage to the treatment sites as a result of their extreme hair removal methods.

Additionally, many other notable complaints from clients whom utilize these types of temporary hair removal methods include but are not limited to: extreme pain, excessive redness and swelling, irritation days after their treatments, ingrown hairs as a result of the skin covering over hair follicles during the healing process, and more importantly, the lifelong expense for repeated treatments

       ♦  Training

Is Electrolysis And Laser Hair Removal Painful?

The latest equipment and protocols have made both methods more comfortable and more effective than ever before. Most people find treatments quite tolerable especially after a few sessions; however, there are effective ways to numb the skin and make you treatments more comfortable.

Who Are Good Candidates For Electrolysis?

Everyone is a good candidate; men, women, teens, and young adults alike.  Moreover, unlike with Laser, the color of your skin doesn't matter.  All skin tones and types, as well as all hair colors including gray, white, red, black, blondes, and brunettes are candidates.

Electrolysis Verses Laser, Which Is Best?

Electrolysis vs. Laser is one of the most common questions that I receive.  In truth, they both have their pros and cons; however, as an experienced Hair Removal Specialist and Certified Medical Electrologist, I can utilize both of these techniques together in unison to reach the smooth, silky, and hair free skin that you desire.

In fact, those individuals that are ideal candidates for both Laser and Electrolysis, whom utilize both methods of Permanent Hair Removal Solutions in tandem during their Hair Removal Regimen; will not only see and receive the quickest permanent hair removal results, but they will also benefit from the most cost effect and financially economical pricing available today.

What Are The Pros And Cons Of Laser?

The advantage of Laser Hair Removal is that a larger area of the body can be treated at one time; allowing individuals to receive Permanent Hair Removal results in a shorter period of time.  However, the disadvantages of Laser is that it can only treat darker colored hairs.  Laser will not treat or remove Blonde, Red, Grey, or White hair.

What Are The Pros And Cons Of Electrolysis?

The benefit of Permanent Hair Removal through the process of Electrolysis is that all hair types and hair colors can be treated and removed during an Electrolysis Session; however, unlike with a Laser, Electrolysis cannot cover larger areas of the body at one time, and this type of Permanent Hair Removal Process will take a longer period of time to complete.

What Should I Expect After Treatment?

After treatment, there may be some redness or swelling, but this disappears within an hour or so. This is part of your body's natural healing process and should be of no concern.  You should keep the area clean with witch hazel, and avoid sun exposure.

How Many Electrolysis Or Laser Treatments Will I Need?

Both Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal require a series of treatments in order to achieve Permanent Hair Results.  During your complimentary consultation here at Sabrina's Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal, we will personalize a treatment regimen which will not only be both financially economical to our clients, but will also meet all of their Naples Permanent Hair Removal needs.   NOTE:  It is very important to adhere to the recommended treatment program set up by you and your Electrologist.  Those who do so will achieve their desired results in the shortest period of time.

Will My Hair Grow Back?

Once active hair follicles have been treated and permanently destroyed through the process of Electrolysis, Laser, or both; the treated follicle will no longer produce anymore hair; however, many factors within the body can and does often influence new hair growth.

This new hair growth may appear as re-growth from previously treated areas; however, the truth of the matter is that these were and/or are dormant hair follicles which may be triggered by the following to include but not limited to:  genetics, puberty, stress, illness, pregnancy, medications, hormonal imbalances, or menopause; which will stimulate non-treated hair follicles to grow.

How Long Does Electrolysis And Laser Hair Remaoval Last?

Hair treated properly by your Electrolysis will never grow back; however, hormonal issues later in life may cause new hair follicles to produce new hairs to grow, especially for women around the lip and chin area.

These are new follicles that did not produce hair in the past and therefore could not have been treated. Remember that only hair that has broken through the skin can be permanently treated.

Can Electrolysis And Laser Get Rid Of Ingrown Hairs & Hairs On Moles?

Yes, both Electrolysis and Laser can treat and remove ingrown hairs; however, it is not safe to remove hair from moles.
